Who sets user permissions?
User permissions are assigned by an Authorized Super User of your organization.
The following is an example of a new user creation within an organization:
Julie is the first ASU for her company, and she needs to set up the rest of the users in her organization so that they can create and maintain various types of filings.
Julie creates another ASU as her backup, and four other Authorized Users (AUs) working in various areas of the organization. (Note: there is no limit to the number of AUs an ASU can create, however they must each have a unique email address.)She is able to assign these new users various types of permissions depending on their role, and can even assign the ability to create only specific types of filings.
For example, one user may only have permission to make exempt market filings whereas another user may have permission to make continuous disclosure and exempt market filings. For a list of filing types under each filing category, refer to the Filing Inventory.
The assigned permissions can be changed by your organization’s ASU, as required, for any user.
