System Users

As a filer, you can begin to use SEDAR+ by either requesting access or by having an Authorized User of your organization add you as a user. For more information, click on the following link to User and Organization Accounts Setup.

You can familiarize yourself with system requirements as well as differences between SEDAR and SEDAR+, by clicking on the following links and referring to the ‘Page Elements’ and the ‘Dashboard’ sections below:

Page Elements
The top section of all pages in SEDAR+ for logged in users includes the following main elements:

  • The ‘Menu’ button displays your main navigation options when clicked.
  • The SEDAR+ logo links to the dashboard for logged in users, otherwise it links to the landing page.
  • A link for ‘French’ changes the display language.
  • A link to ‘My user details’ allows you to review: account details, language preference, personal verification questions, role and permissions, and contains links to ‘Reset Password’ and ‘Maintain user account.’  For more information on user roles and permissions, click on the following link to User and Organization Accounts Setup.
  • A link to ‘Logon / Register’ which changes to ‘Logoff’ for logged in users.

Note: The ‘Menu’ button does not appear on pages where you input information. To access the Menu button, apply your changes or exit the page to return to a page with the ‘Menu’ button visible.

The Dashboard
Once logged in, your dashboard provides quick access to information pertinent or specific to you. Return to your dashboard by clicking the SEDAR+ logo.

The ‘Welcome’ tab provides several links to frequently used functions. Furthermore, you can see a summary of details of the organization you belong to, along with links to view its details and to view your user details. For more information, click on the following link to View and Maintain User and Organization Account Details.

The ‘Your profiles’ tab lists profiles over which you have authority and can file against. For more information, click on the following link to Profile authority.

The ‘Profiles you are watching’ tab lists profiles that you have added to your watchlist.

The ‘Drafts’ tab lists any drafts that either you or someone else in your organization has created that you can access, according to your user permissions. From here, you can resume work on a draft or discard it. More information about drafts is provided within the context of profiles and filings on their respective help pages.

The ‘Submitted work’ tab lists all filings that have been submitted within the last 90 calendar days that you have authority to work on.
